The Fleet Recognition Scheme (FORS) is a voluntary accreditation scheme that promotes best practices for commercial vehicle operators. With over 4,700 members, FORS is gaining recognition as the transport industry’s go-to accreditation scheme encompassing all aspects of safety, efficiency, and environmental protection. LGH achieved a Bronze Accreditation.
At LGH our dedication to safety and ongoing training never wavers. We were pleased to have been awarded the SafeHire Certification demonstrating our competence in safety. Health, Environment and Quality as recognised by Hire Association Europe (HAE).
LGH is a full member of The Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), the leading representative body for all those involved in the lifting industry worldwide. By becoming a full LEEA member we continue to provide leading edge services backed up by the knowledge that we are accredited and supported by the worlds leading authority in Lifting.
LGH became an associate member of the ARA in 2007. With a listing of more the 7500 equipment rental businesses and 1100 manufacturers and suppliers of rental equipment in the U.S., Canada and more than 30 countries around the world, the ARA is a reference tool for anyone looking for rental equipment. The ARA is a good partnership for LGH in all that it provides.
LGH became a member of AWRF in 2010. While AWRF stands for Associated Wire Rope Fabricators, membership covers the spectrum of the lifting, rigging and load securement industry. This partnership works well as LGH is a provider of lifting and rigging equipment. LGH has been featured in the AWRF’s Slingmakers newsletter as well as having a job photo included on the calendar for 2013.
LGH became a supplier partner with MCAA in 2012. This partnership has been beneficial for the 2,400 members of the MCAA as they know they have a reliable source for lifting equipment rental with LGH. This membership has become an integral part of LGH’s business. By attending the MCAA’s Annual Convention and Exhibit we are able to reach out on a personal level to the other members of the association and create lasting relationships.
LGH joined NWIBRT in 2013. NWIBRT offers great forums for business owners and colleagues to share information, discuss items of mutual interest and network with their peers. This partnership is beneficial to LGH in that it is a group of professionals that are involved in construction or construction-related purchases. LGH provides the other members with the knowledge that they have a company that is a partner rather than a vendor.
LGH became a member of RICA in 2016. Founded in 1969, the Railway Industrial Clearance Association is dedicated to serving the heavy and dimensional transportation industry. With over 400 members, RICA strongly represents all aspects of logistics that are associated with the movement of dimensional cargo via the rail system. This membership will prove useful to LGH as our company’s business in the transportation industry continues to grow just as quickly as the market itself is growing.
LGH has been a member of the SC&RA since 1998. The organization is an international trade association of more than 1,300 members from 43 nations. They actively participate by working with policymakers to set and maintain industry standards. As a member, LGH attends these meetings to provide input as well as to stay abreast of any policy changes. This partnership is beneficial in that our missions and expertise are well-matched, while LGH actively continues serving many of the other SC&RA members.
